Unconditional Love...

Two years ago today this precious pup came into our lives... a little abandoned stray we found while we were on our Nature walk...  scared and alone...  running lost in the streets... looking... searching... for her forever home...if you'd like, you can read all of her story here and here ...  we thought she must have gotten loose from someone and frantically tried that day and most of the next to find her owners... the next day we did... US!...

The creeps who had her must have just cut her loose as when we contacted them they did not want her...  I tell you, I wanted to smack the *@!! out of the man and woman who had let her go when I met them... I have NO use at all for people who mistreat animals...  I am the nicest lady in the world...  but I quickly turn into their worst nightmare...  even if they would have wanted her back, there is no way I would have given her to them...  but Tessy and I don't talk about that anymore...  her life began the day Jack and I found her...  Jack and I both believe she was Heaven sent to us that day... a most precious gift from God...  we were not looking for another pet...  but she needed us... and we needed her... Tessy is the kindest, most loving dog in the world... my little shadow... my confidante... my best friend...  we take long walks down the trail every day...  we talk to each other all day long...  we play silly...  we whisper secrets to each other... and we love each other...  unconditionally...

I just read Sharon Lovejoy's post on being "Content" with your life and what you have...  I think Tessy is content here in her forever home...  and she brings so much happiness and contentment to us... these are the things that truly matter in life...  since we didn't know exactly when she was born, we celebrate her birthday on February 7th...  the day she became official ours...  we love you Tessy girl!...  Happy Birthday tomorrow precious little one!... doggie kisses... xoxo...   your forever family

Happy tears for Tessy and you! What a lucky little lady she is to have you ♥ and how lucky you are to have her.

I will never understand how anyone can ever cause hurt or pain to a fellow being, especially those who give their love so trustingly and unconditionally, and cannot defend themselves.

Hi there, I love this story-you've got a heart like mind. We have some friends and they mistakenly told me once that they had taken a dog to the mountains and let him loose-let me say they went down in my opinion and I've never felt the same way about them since. They should have taken him to the humane society if they didn't want him. It's probably lucky that we haven't teamed up together-people would definitely be in trouble if they mistreated their dogs. I love Tessy-she has the most gentle look. I'm so glad that she found her forever home with you!
Hugs, Noreen

I also get very angry and upset when I hear of animals being mistreated. I've always had dogs in my life and always will I imagine. My Toby is also my shadow and adds so much to our lives.

Happy Birthday Tess! Much happiness to all of you.
