Honey, I can't seem to get the grill to light...

Jack, can you help me get the grill going... we were going to have a barbeque today...

Just brush the snow off, 'k?... yes,  I KNOW it snowed more in the night... like about two feet of it...  just put your boots on please and come out here on the deck with me... remember...  I said I was going to try to enjoy winter this year???...

I'm trying, I really am trying to enjoy winter...  it's hard...  I am a warm weather lady...  but I made myself a promise...  so I will keep trying...  the birdies do okay... like I showed you in my previous post yesterday...  and it is much harder on them than me... and my birdfeeders and birdies really did look beautiful in the snow...  if you have a chance, take a peek at my previous post... and be sure to check out Sharon Lovejoys beautiful new bird book...  a great Christmas gift!... besides...  I don't want to break a promise to myself... maybe a nice hot cup of coffee and some homemade cookies today will help...  hope it is a beautiful day wherever you live... xoxo...  Julie Marie (Is it Spring yet?????)...

  4. Oh my dear, I am so sorry you do not enjoy the snow, but you are such a trooper to try this year. I on the other hand love it and I wish I could take the snow from you :) I think coffee and cookies sound perfect for a snowy day. Have a lovely day, my friend!

  6. Hi sweet friend, I had to laugh because you can tell we are still Californians-my hubby often bbqs in the snow. Of course not when there is 2' of it. It is snowing here today and probably tomorrow too. If I can stay inside, I love it.
Love your attitude girl; remember it could be worse-we could have hurricane's or tornadoes.
    Hugs, Noreen
