I'll Miss You Ange...

You've been there for me ever since I was a little girl... that tall, dark and handsome Sheriff of Mayberry... where life was simple and folks were friendly... where the pace of life was slow and relaxing... and good always won over bad... and right over wrong... with your soft Southern drawl you taught life's lessons in a most uncomplicated way...

June 1, 1926 ~ July 3, 2012

I grew up in a little Mayberry kind of town, but I always wanted to live in the quaint, beautiful little town of Mayberry, North Carolina where you did... and sit out on the porch while you strummed your guitar... and eat Aunt Bea's apple pie fresh out of the oven... now you are in another beautiful place... along with Aunt Bea and Barney and so many of your family and friends... I will miss you Ange... may you rest in peace... God Bless you...

  3. I'm so sad!! I wanted to live in Mayberry too. Funny how I was just thinking about Andy on Saturday, wondering if he was still around and watching one of my fave Andy Griffith show episodes.

His presence will be missed. He was a lovely man...

  7. He will always be remembered for his role as the sheriff of Mayberry. I got to meet him in person as a child. He talked to me and even signed an autograph for me. He will be missed.

We sTILL watch these re-runs .. over and over again !! I LOVE this show, and yes, you were right about it's quaintness, slower pace life, where just home and family is what really matters !! 14. Hi Julie,
Yes, I will miss Andy too. I still watch it everyday at some point while working. The same shows over and over never get old for me. The message within the storyline, is always refreshing.
Nice tribute Julie to a wonderful man who's memory will live on forever.
    Lots of love, CMD
