Bliss...

I have a number of birdbaths throughout my gardens for my sweet little feathered friends to take a dip and a sip on a warm Summers day... of all the different places to stop and rest in my gardens, I see them most frequently at my little old shabby white and worn one out back... perhaps it is because of the bower of soft pink roses that gently cascades over it... creating a shady little hideaway that smells simply divine... my pink roses have never been more beautiful than they are right now... today... showing off for me... and I am showing them off for you...

June 2012

Since this is one of my roses I do not know the name of, I have named her "Anais"... French for "graceful" which this gorgeous lady certainly is... and since pink roses symbolize happiness, gentleness and gracefulness, I think her name suits her perfectly... to me and my birdies, "Anais" is pure bliss... wishing you a most blissful June day full of happiness, gentleness and gracefulness as well... xoxo...

It is such a beautiful rose sweetie.
My favorite thing to do when I wake up and look through my bedroom window that looks over three of the birdbaths in the garden and watch the birds taking their morning dips. I just love it too.

Julie Marie- I can see why the birds love to come there to bathe. What a beautiful spot - I would like to bathe there myself...I suppose I would need a BIGGER bath! xo Diana

I love your chippy bird bath & gorgeous roses!
We have a birdbath (with water fountain) in our front courtyard and love to watch the birds splashing about. This morning our front garden was alive with yellow finch - it was the most gorgeous sight ♥

What a beautiful name for a rose, Julie Marie. I can see why this is your favorite little piece of heaven.
I don't think I'd ever roam very far either.I love watching the little birdies splash and play.
Big hugs to you,

Pink roses are one of my favorites. Those are absolutely stunning. Do they have a heavenly scent too? I hope you take some into the house where you can enjoy them there as well.

Oh, to be a little bird in your garden, Julie Marie! These roses are gorgeous!
I am keeping my eyes open for a zone 4 pink rose bush that will grow to about 4' high. Pink is my favorite. :)
Hope you have a great weekend!
