Thoughts on May, Mothers Day, My Birthday, Memories... and More...

Spring is always a favorite season of mine... and all things really do seem possible in May... the earth is renewed and so is my spirit... a beautifully delightful, graceful month, full of so many promises to come... warm dreamy days and soft starlit nights... I was blessed to be born in this most enchanted month... I love my birth~flower... Lily of the Valley, Muguet in French... it has to be my very favorite flower of all... ohhh... I say that about all flowers, don't I?... well, perhaps I do... but my birth~flower is just so delicate and sweet... how can I not say it is my favorite right now... for years, I wore beautiful Lily of the Valley parfum... then allergies kept me from doing so... this year, I shall forget I have allergies... and buy myself some of my favorite parfum once more... life is to be enjoyed... I shall wear my parfum and delight in it... my garden is full of these delicate little plants... how I am wishing they will open for my birthday next week... perhaps they are saving their sweet little blooms as a special gift to me that day...

My birthday falls on Mother's Day this year... my own mama is gone now... but always with me in my heart... as always, I shall plant a new rose for her that day in my garden... and let a sweet little birdie carry a message of love to her from me... many happy memories fill my thoughts these days in May... I cherish my beautiful little doll I received on my birthday one year when I was a little girl... she is a Nancy Ann Storybook doll for the month of May...

I always believed she was created just for me... and my birthday in May... we have celebrated many a special day together over all of these years...

I also share my birthday with my brother~in~law Wes, my sister Jill's husband... he is the "other man" in my life... and I cannot think of anyone I would rather share my special day with...
