Hello everyone... I hope you all had a beautiful Easter... it could not have been a more perfect day at our house... the sun was shining, the birds were singing... the air was warm with just the slightest whisper of a breeze... my gardens first blooms were mesmerizing me... I could not help but smile all day long... Jack and I took a nice leisurely Nature walk first thing... starting with our own gardens...
This week I shall add soil pep to my flower beds... and fill them with more of my old~fashioned favorite flowers... in several weeks, I will not even be able to see the soil as I fill my gardens to the brim with blooms of all kinds... that is our gorgeous flowering pear tree in the foreground...

A clump of my Forget~me~nots...
A new Spring purse for me for Easter... a "Coach" found at TJ Maxx for half price... I LOVE a good bargain!...
My sweetie Tessy had sooo much fun... she donned her bunny ears and couldn't wait to sniff out what was in her Easter basket... Cheez~its (her favorite!), a new tenny ball, a soft smushy bunny, a little pouch for me to carry treats in for her to take on our walks, a nylabone, a chewie, colored eggs with her name on them... I fixed a yummy dinner of ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, deviled eggs, rolls and cake for dessert... Tessy got a few little bites, of course... (if you look closely at this picture of Tessy you can see her tail is wagging!)...
And at the end of the day, we were all a bit tired... new bunny included...
We truly had a most perfectly perfect day... and I hope you did as well...now we begin a new week full of Springtime's promises... I shall spend my days in my garden... how will you spend yours?... I hope it will be something delightful!... xoxo...

We had a wonderful day too with early morning sunrise service at church and Easter breakfast after. Later we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon dinner before it rained buckets. It was a cozy day to rest and enjoy.
