Garden~inspired Deviled Eggs...

A while back, I introduced you to my beautiful cousin I never knew I had, who found me though my blog... she is an artist, photographer, designer, conservationist, animal and Nature lover, collector and lover of all things vintage... the list goes on and on... she filled in many of the missing pieces of some of my family history, including the fact that her great~grandmother, my great~aunt Marie Vicknair (my grandpa Vicknair's sister) founded the famous Barqs Root Beer Company in New Orleans in the late 1800's... I am so happy we found each other!... that story is here if you would like to read it... her name is Veni Harlan and she is a most incredible lady!... she just sent me this photo of her Easter eggs...

She made the most beautiful deviled eggs and garnished them with flowers and edibles from her garden... she lives in Baton Rouge so her gardens are way ahead of mine... these are so beautiful, I just had to share them with you!... I can't wait to try making some myself... wishing you a most enchanted April day... xoxo...

These are SO pretty. I wish I had seen your post earlier...not that I have any flowers yet, but I made 2 dozen deviled eggs on Monday! lol!I boiled them all Saturday night but we never had the time to paint and decorate them. They were delicious though with our leftover ham!

XO,
Jane
