I LOVE your blog and am so glad I found you. I looked at many of your posts and couldn't believe it when I saw your #1 Barbie! First, I read what you wrote to make sure that you indeed knew you had a number one! And of course you did! I used to be a HUGE Barbie collector and then I went to work for Mattel and was there for 7 year - my dream job. At one time I had over 400 Barbies! I've since sold them and donated them EXCEPT for my beloved vintage ones and a few Bob Mackies and some other special ones. I never got a #1 but I have a beautiful #3 with the ghostly white skin. I love her. I have several other #'s all the way up to 6 and the Swirl, etc. And I also have all of mine from the 70's.

Anyway, it's fun to meet another lover of blogging and vintage and I see you're a rescue doggie mom too!
