Countdown to Spring...

Okay... so it is still officially winter... but I don't have to like it!... my sweet friend Amy at My Shabby Bungalow doesn't like it either... Amy was one of my very first followers when I started blogging almost three years ago and we have been best of friends ever since... anyhow, we decided we would wait no longer... we are starting our countdown to Spring... today!... Amy did the cutest post today about dreaming of Spring... and that started our countdown... for today, I just made a pretty little nest to entice YOU to dream of Spring as well...

I have so many Springtime thoughts running through my mind... I can't wait to do a long post full of pictures of happy reminders of the days to come... many of my favorite Springtime treasures have come from Amy's Etsy shop... she always crafts the darlingest (is that a word???) things, lots of bunnies and nests and eggs and flowery pretties... I hope you enjoy our "pretty" posts as we get ready for our most favorite Season of renewal to begin... xoxo...

Oh...your nest is so sweet and does make me feel like spring is in the air. Temps in the 50's help but that can't possibly last much longer!

I will rely on your "Spring Posts" to keep me hoping for sunny days!

XO,
Jane

I have already started counting out, but towards the longest day in June! Although I love winter I truly do not like the short days and long, dark nights. My curtains are pulled across the windows early to shut out the dreary damp. So, now there is something more to look forward to with your Spring Countdown! Hurrah!

Eeek!! Julie, I love this post!! You are the sweetest bestest friend ever :) I love your nest, it makes me feel so happy. Their is nothing like baby bird and hearing birds sing! It is the first taste of spring! Thank you so much for mentioning my Etsy shoppe too!! Creating is my passion and knowing so many are living in your beautiful home makes my heart sing :)

Bella is doing much better. We are trying to fatten her up again, lol. The two pictures of her in my post were taken about a year and a half ago. But her beautiful face still looks the same :) I am so sorry about the lady on Pinterest stealing pics of Tessy!! Why would she do that? Did she pretend Tessy was hers? Or was it a mosaic of dogs? Hopefully she has removed them and learned to get permission before using someone's photos!!
Love ya sweetie and cant wait to read more of your beautiful spring posts!

Hello Julie, Spring will hopefully come to us early this year. There is nothing nicer than the first sighting of spring bulbs peeking out through the snow. Just beautiful, blessings always, Maureen.

Check out my blog for a great Give A Way that I know you will love.....

Love the nest, bird's nest are one of my favorite things! And wow, it really doesn't sound that far away when I see 69 days written on your blog. I'm ready for green grass, and all of the trees to start budding out.
Give Tessy a ginormous sloppy kiss from Sophie and me, and spoil her a little for us too, will ya?

So cute! A countdown! Yay!!!

Spring doesn't really arrive here until May at the earliest. In fact, our last snow last year was June 20.

But I'll have fun seeing everyone's garden grow, and making a few spring crafts!

Happy day to you, sweet Julie Marie!

While the snow and ice are coverin' the ground and the wind is whippin' a mighty 30MPH, I've made no bones that I'm not a lover of winter.

Nope, this chick is no snow bunny!!1

Hi Julie, Oh your pretty nest is gorgeous. Really is an inspiration for springtime. Yes our sweet Amy does create the darlingest treasures straight from her heart.
I love your countdown. I am counting too. It turned real cold last night and today was brutal. I too have been springing it up with my creations and so enjoying it.

Love, CM
