Vintage Christmas... Pretty in Pink...

Over the years, I have collected so much vintage Christmas and I love sharing it with you... I thought I would show you one of my many vintage decorated trees today... my pink tree (the tree itself is not vintage) all dressed up in my vintage oh~so~soft pale pink balls from the early 50's... these beauties were made by the Coby Company in the US. I purchased all of them at an estate sale many years ago, all in their original boxes... which I treasure almost as much as the ornaments themselves...

I wanted this to be a girly~girly tree for me and Tessy (she is SUCH a little girly Princess!)...

Underneath the tree are some exquisite gifts Santa may have brought a pretty lady those many years ago... a satin glovebox to keep her finest gloves in... a vintage rhinestone brooch and earrings (these belonged to my mama)... some lavish French parfum... a little silver trinket box... and a stunning beaded evening bag... my mama bought me the bag when I was just a little girl... she had bought one for herself to take to a Christmas party at the Officers Club at Ft. Douglas and I wanted to be just like her... another of my most cherished possessions... treasures from the past brought to life at Christmas time... holding precious memories always close to my heart... as I make beautiful new ones to tuck away with those from long ago... xoxo... I am linking this post to 2805 today for the Christmas Blogger Block Party, Christmas Trees...

Your tree is beautiful! And the treasures below just stunning. What a sweet story of your mother getting you the identical little purse. I can tell she was a beautiful lady inside and out. Those little treasures can say so much!

Delightful! I know what you mean about the ornament box--I have several full, but there is something about the vintage boxes, it's such a treasure to have them, as well!

Hi Julie, Your pink tree with vintage ornaments is just gorgeous. I have the same tree but did not put it up this year. Did a pink feather tree instead.
I love the gorgeous treasures you have placed under the tree. So romantic for you and beautiful Tessy. I just love her in her hat and that darling pic.
Miss B is a girly girl too and we have such fun. She watches me putting on my makeup so I have her own special powder brush and she is not happy till she gets her face fluffed with her brush. She loves that and I do even more. LOL

I am so inspired for Christmas after visiting all your posts tonight. Thank you for the Christmas joy.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
