Seven months ago today, this precious dog came into our lives... truly a gift from God this little angel of ours... Tessy is just about the sweetest dog I have ever known, and I have known many sweet doggies in my lifetime!... (and I love them ALL by the way!)... Tessy wakes up smiling... tail wagging, always happy to see us and always game for a game... or a walk down the trail... Tessy loves everyone, judges no one... gives kisses freely and asks nothing in return... no matter if you are young or old, black or white, short or tall... she sees only good things in her people friends... we could learn so very much if we just quietly observe the behavior they exhibit... I am learning from this little best friend of mine each and every day... each and every person who enters our lives is unique (each and every furry friend too!)... we do not have to fit any kind of a "mold" or what society tries to dictate... Tessy is Tessy... plain and simple as that... and Julie Marie is Julie Marie... plain and simple as that too...
While I was under the weather recently with surgery and all, I began making some little doggie and kitty blankets... today, to celebrate Tessy being a part of our family now, we walked down the trail and over to her doggie doctors office... we donated seven handmade blankets I tied for them to raffle off to raise funds for the many little critters her doggie doctor cares for... In addition to seeing dogs and cats, he sees birds, snakes, ferrets, and every kind of wild critter you can imagine... her doctor is such a kind and caring man, loving even the tiniest of God's creatures, (just like Jack and I do!), rehabilitating them and releasing them to a protected environment, such as the Ogden Nature Center, which you can visit by going to the link on my sidebar under "Favorite Friends"... all of his time is donated doing this, but medicine and supplies still cost, so we wanted to help out in some small way... "Unconditional Love"... pass it on... you will see, it comes back to you tenfold... xoxo... Julie Marie and Tessy

Awe, I think Tessy could by my little Sophie's long lost sibling. Everything you said about Tessy describes my little Soph. She was a stray that I found in the road, and I tried my hardest to find her a home, and well, I did, lol. I cringe when I think about what we would have missed out on had I found her another home.
Anyhoo, I haven't been around blogland too much this summer to keep up with things, but I am so glad you are feeling better. Tessy is such a lucky baby to have you!

Ju that was so sweet of you to make blankets and what a great way to raise money. I didnt know you did all that while you were feeling bad. I am glad you guys have Tessy. We all can learn a lot from our animals(best friends) they dont care about what you do, how much money you have, what clothes you wear, etc they love you for you. Your Tessy is a gentle soul and I loved her the minute I saw her just like Dino. Our animals are more to us than an animal they are our family. Your vet sounds like a great guy just like Dr. Moss who loves Dino. It is good to find sweet caring people in this world and to know that others feel the way we do. Give Tessy our Love.

Sweet Tessy is so sweet and she always models so pretty for the camera. The last year has flown by since Tessy came into your lives. She is very special and I am so glad she lives with you and Jack.
We feel this way about our Miss B too who will on Dec 23rd be with us7 years already. I would not trade a day without her. You are so right about the unconditional love they give. Always a special blessing.

I always say you can tell if a person is a kind heart or not-if fur babies like them. I can't imagine my life without fur babies.
