Do You Salsa???...

I love salsa... both the music and the kind you eat... yesterday, my niece Liz and I went to our local Farmers Market... it was my first big outing since my surgery and it felt sooo good to get out and about. Liz and I had so much fun and bought so many yummy fruits and veggies... I got everything to make my salsa... I was still feeling good today, (thank you God), so I decided to whip up a batch... I just love getting out my old enamelware pot and cooking my salsa in that... just seems to give it a burst of flavor by using that old pan...

My fresh tomatoes from the Farmers Market, grown just down the lane from me at the Bangerter Farm...

Fresh green, red and yellow Bell Peppers, Anaheims, and Jalapenos... Bermuda onions and Spanish onions... and garlic, of course... the house smells so deliciously yummy today!...

And now comes the most fun part... eating it!...

Let's salsa!... xoxo...

  2. Looks So yummy Ju Ju... I would love some of your Salsa or the kind my mom used to make. I bet your house is smelling so good right about now. I wish I some here in London and could dip chip after chip into it. Glad you and Lizzy had a good time at the market and you got out and about. Miss the Market. Love you and enjoy your salsa.

  6. Oh how I wish I was at your house tonight Julie Marie! I love salsa! We go through it by the gallons here. My husbands favorite snack is chip and salsa mixed with sour cream. I can just imagine how good your kitchen smells too.
I am so glad that you are getting around a little and doing some of the things you love again. I bet it was wonderful spending the day with your niece.
Now lets just hope those other stones stay put!!!
