I'm a Mom!....

Hi everyone... if you read my post yesterday, then you know about the little stray Jack and I found... I will try to make a long story short (really hard for me to do sometimes!)... but the bottom line is... this morning I was able to locate the owners through the rabies tag she had on her collar... I was so happy and so excited that I was able to locate them... UNTIL... I talked to the woman on the phone and told her we had saved her dog... her reply... "Do you want her, we don't"... now, if you have followed my blog much (thank you!), then you know I am a very nice lady... BUT, like I said in my previous post, I can become someone's worst nightmare really quick!... Jack and I had said no more pets of our own as we are still mourning the loss of all of our little pets who one by one left for animal Heaven... we have continued to donate to numerous animal causes and rescue any and all of God's creatures as He sends them our way... I wish I was a millionaire so I could buy acres and acres and take in every homeless pet there ever was... but since I am not, I do what I can... with my sweet Jack right by my side... I am blessed to have a man who loves and protects all God's creatures like I do... soooo... as we pondered what to do, this sweet little pup put a paw on Jack's knee and looked up at him with those big brown eyes... she needed a good home...
I think she found one...thank you God for sending this precious little angel to us...I had called her Giselle yesterday since she needed a pretty name, then found out her name is "Tess"... so, Tess it is!... I won't go into all of the details about her previous owners, other than I wanted to smack them both to pieces!... they have no idea who I am or where I live, and could not care less about Tess...they gave me some paperwork about her and shut the door... she is safe and warm now... complete checkup at our vets, shots, bloodtest, heartworm pills, the works!... she is an English Pointer... so, as the late Paul Harvey used to say "and now you know the rest of the story"... we love her so much... I think she loves us too... what do you think?... xoxo... PS You can bet I will be posting lots of pics of my new baby... just got back from shopping for her... new pink collar, leash, bowls, food, treats... toys... thank you so much all of my animal loving friends for your kind words and encouraging support, I love you all too!...

Oh how exciting to have a new baby to pamper.
She was sent to you for a reason- how sad she had to travel or be outside and scared till she found you.
You are a blessing and will be rewarded in so many ways.
Tess is a beauty!

Tess is certainlty a lucky young lady to have found such a loving home as yours, Julie...so sorry you had to deal with owners like that. Sounds like it's better for your new baby this way.

Hi Julie Marie,
WOW, I love this story and yes, God sent sweet Tess your way. She could not be with a better mom and dad as you and Jack.
I am outraged at the actions of her past owners.
What kind of people could do such a thing as those who just let her go in the cold? I will never understand this, but the story has a happy ending and sweet Tess is a darling. Just look at those big brown eyes. And her paw on Jack's knee, be still my heart!! She spoke to your hearts and I see a wondeful future for you all. Do you know about how old she is?

Enjoy your new baby and lots of love to you all. Miss Beazy lee sends her new friend lots of love too. We are so happy for you all.
God bless you always.
XOXO
Love you to pieces,
Celestina Marie

Oh Julie Marie,
How very awful about the previous owners! I love my sweet little Cookie so much I would go crazy if she ever got lost. I would only hope that if she did she would end up with someone like you and Jack that would take care of her and keep her safe until she came back home. Well, the wonderful part to all this is that I know Tess is going to be much happier now and much, much, much more loved and taken care of. Congratulations my dear and kind friend. Doggie kisses to your new baby.

Much love to you,
♥Ana

Oh Julie Marie God must have know you would be the right person to find Ms Tess!!! What terrible people to abandon her :(
The other day I heard on the news someone left a puppy in a cage at one of the parks here in Orlando. How terrible!!! The puppy was fine they said and they are looking for a home to adopt it.
You certainly have a big heart and enjoy your new pride and joy!!!

Aww Julie Marie, I am so glad that your taking her in. That dog is finally going to get the love it surely needs and I know your going to spoil her. I just love happy endings when it comes to animals. I have dealt with people like this all my life that mistreat animals and frankly I"m sick of it with there ways of thinking. It's a battle that will never end.

I have been so busy taking care of animals... Outside and inside! In fact I'm taking care of a stray cat... not sure what the story is with this cat, but it's been hard for me because of all my birds. Sometimes the cat will stay and other times she takes off to where I don't know. I still need more time to check into this matter.

Sending Big, Big hugs out to you*

Dear Sweet Julie Marie and your precious Jack,
I feel sure they just let Tess go, hoping she didn't find her way back home...but she did find her way home to you. I can tell you that I have 2 rescue dogs...3 rescue cats and my sweet Mr. Simply built a house outside for 2 feral cats that have adopted us.
RESCUED ANIMALS ARE SOOOO MORE APPRECIATIVE THAN A PURCHASED DOG...WE ADOPTED OUR SAMMY SIGHT UNSEEN AND WE DID NOT KNOW AT THE TIME HE HAD BEEN KICKED SO HARD FROM THE HUSBAND OF THE FAMILY THAT THEY HAD TO REROUTE HIS AREA TO URINATE TO A STOMA...A WHOLE THAT URINE FLOWS OUT FROM...WE HAVE SPENT OVER 2,000.00 IN VET BILLS KEEPING HIM A LIVE...HE HAS LIVED 5 YEARS PAST WHAT THEY SAID HE WOULD AND I pray for him and annoint him...there is times when he comes up to me I know he wants to be prayed for..he also says his prayers every night...you can see a picture of him on my blog with our other rescue animals...Sammy has to take powerful antibiotics for the rest of his life...this owner of Tess should be on a list that they can never have a precious animal again.
IT OUTRAGES ME FOR PEOPLE TO GET A PET AND THEN THROW IT A WAY WHEN THEY TIRE OF IT...IT WOULD BE A PRISON SENTENCE IF YOU DID THAT TO A HUMAN BEING BUT IT SEEMS PRECIOUS ANIMALS HAVE NO ADVOCATE...NO LAWYER TO REPRESENT THEM AND THEIR CASE...
yes, the Angel of the Lord sent Tess to you and she is going to be a bright ray of sunshine in your life.
You are special Julie Marie
Have A Sugar Sweet Day
Angel Hugs
STOP BY TO SEE ME...i WOULD LOVE TO VISIT WITH YOU

I am happy to hear that they gave you some papers and can not change their minds and claim you stole their dog. They sound like that kind of people.
My pets (family members) are not perfect. They take time and they get sick and I can not go away overnight any more. And I would not give any one of them up unless I knew they were going to a better situation. And then I would cry a lot. (I don't foster as much any more.)
Sometimes we are blessed when we are not looking for it.

Good thing I wasn't around either! People think they are so sweet when they are little, and then they don't want them anymore. That's sad. Now she has a good home!

I got goose bumps when I read this!!! TICKED ME OFF. Do you think they just let that poor baby out the door to get lost?? Thank God YOU two got your new baby and that you have the heart to make room for another after your loss.
