Everything Old is New Again...

You know the saying "everything old is new again"?... it seems it is so true!... I have had this wonderful old, old French water pitcher forever... I have used it for everything from watering plants to filling pets water bowls, filling it with fresh flowers, and everything in between...

It sits on my hall tree just inside my front door now, overflowing with pretty silk flowers for now until my garden offers me the real thing soon as Spring arrives... this is another one of my treasures I got over twenty five years ago at a flea market when we lived at our little farmhouse... have you priced these babies lately?... Yikes!... I think I'll hang onto mine!... today I am linking with my friend Debra at Common Ground for Vintage Inspiration Fridays... xoxo...

How absolutely beautiful, and yes, I did think those flowers were the real deal.

I know, in our area antiques will cost you a small fortune... once in a while, we may bump into a yard sale that has some sweet deals.

Love your pitcher and your hall tree.

I LOVE IT Julie Marie! I will probably never find one for a good price around here, but a girl can hope and dream and possibly FIND! lol
I purchased real tulips today. White and very light pink at Wally World marked 1/2 off , but nothing wrong with them. They are so pretty and remind me of Spring...*sigh*...can't wait till it arrives!

Hi Julie,
Oh your French water pitcher is gorgeous and yes, very pricy when you find them today. Yours is lovely graced with your silk tulips and lilacs. Perfect Spring inspiration coming and going by your door. They do look real too.

Catching up tonight with my visits. We are still in a deep freeze here with a prediction of a wintry mix on Sunday.
Rolling blackouts all around us and the roads are dangerously icy. Fresh snow fell last night over top the ice. Am I still in Texas? We had weeks like this in Michigan. L's work was closed all week long.

Thank you for entering my giveaway.
Have a nice weekend.
Love you, Celestina Marie

I just love it Julie Marie! My mom use to say the same thing about shoes when I was younger. I was wearing what she use to wear except I think that hers from what I saw in pictures were prettier. Hang on to it.. the things they build these days break!
Take Care,

I love your pitcher! I had one that I kept utensils in but I finally switched them to something different then sold the pitcher in the I kind of regret it!! I'm sure excited for spring flowers. I am thinking of buying bunches of tulips next week in time for Valentine's day!
Have a great weekend Julie Marie!

Good morning...pretty photos like always. Julie....I have priced some of the things you are sharing with us..and I can't believe the prices...For those of us who are retired and on fixed incomes we are so smart to hang onto all the old stuff we have collected over the years.

Have a wonderful weekend,
