Okay, enough is enough! ...

It has been really rainy here the entire month of May... with a few sunny, warm days in between... like the days I took the photos in my gardens in the previous posts, and the Bluebird yesterday mid~day... we sneak our Nature walks in between showers... we always want the water... it makes everything so lush and green... BUT! ... I am starting to think it is never going to end... and maybe Jack should start building an Ark... I took this photo during the calm before the newest storm...

This is my new little friend I met on the trail... his name is "Diego" and his mama bought him a new hoodie since he is sooo tiny and gets sooo cold! He is a little Mexican Chihuahua... isn't he precious! ...

I am starting to feel like I am in the Twilight Zone... today it is SNOWING! And 34 degrees!!! This is what I see when I look out my front window... yuck!...

Remember the Twilight Zone where the sun never came out and one guy wondered why, then realized he was in the "Twilight Zone"??? ... Please, tell me I am in Centerville and everything will be okay! ... xoxo

  1. Hi Julie Marie :) My goodness, you guys are getting the cold temperatures, and here in Michigan we are getting the very hot & humid temps. It's suppose to get to 89 today!! Can you say scorcher!! Hopefully some of this hot weather will start to head over in your direction and melt that darn snow away! :)

Have a good week my friend, warmest always, Brenda

  2. Ohhhhh, Diego is just so sweet!!!!

I'm with you Julie!! It's been snowing in the foothills and chains required going up to Reno and rain and rain and rain and COLD here! We had the heater on yesterday!! Normally at this time of the year we're in the pool and I'm wearing my flip flops! We had to put our patio furniture back inside the shed b/c of the rain.

    Have a beautiful day!

    xxoo

  4. Hi Julie Marie,
I know what you mean about this crazy weather. In all the years I've lived in Utah I don't recall snow at the end of May. Don't worry, it will get warm and then we'll all be complaining about how hot it is. I don't mind the moisture really. It's so good for the yard and I love all the green.

  5. You are in Centerville and everything will be okay! It was 'cold' here yesterday. I went up to the Mermaid's Mercantile in Solana Beach and the high there was only 60 degrees. I realize it's all relative but that's about 10 degrees below where it should be. The people there from Arizona were really freezing, as you might imagine. It is supposed to be warmer (just 50 now, but on its way to 69) here today and I hope the same for you there.

    Love and hugs,
    Tamerie

  6. Good morning friend...thanks for following my little Texas trip and your kind comments.

Golly.....your weather is pretty crazy there. I know how much you have been looking forward to spring and the flowers it brings. By the way......what does happen to all those beautiful flowers of yours when it is warm one day, raining the next......then snow. They must be having nervous breakdowns!!!

    Hugs,

    Jo

  8. Hi Julie Marie,
My gosh you have had a cold Spring. The pic today looks like cuddle weather with a good book and cup of hot tea!! I hope you warm up soon. We are in the 90's and a bit muggy, but great to work outside.

I love little Diego. What a cutie pie. I had a Chihuahua growing up named Poncho. He lived till 12 years old and was so sweet. Little Diego reminds me of him.

Thank you for stopping by my yard post. I hope you have a great week and hopefully warm up and melt some snow.

You are in Centerville and everything is okay!!
    Blessings always,
    Celestina Marie

  9. Oh please send some of your wet weather down to So Cal! We still need it so badly! I would be thrilled to have a storm come in! I know it is still snowing up in the Sierras and that is a wonderful thing!
Chin up - it'll be August and 100 degrees before you know it and you'll probably be longing for cool Spring days.
    :) Hugs! Karen
What has happened to our little friend Amy? She's been gone an awfully long time . . .
