The Good Earth...

This Thursday, April 22nd is Earth Day... founded in 1970 "to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment"... being the Nature lover that I am, I thought it would be fun to show you some of my favorite pictures taken over the last year of a number of reasons why I so love this beautiful planet we all call "home"... this is the home of "Bebe Squirrel"... in the large old Maple tree down the lane where we take our Nature walk each day... surrounded by pretty Forsythia blooming right outside her front door... all photos were taken by "Moi", either on our Nature walks or at our home... I hope you enjoy these!...

Oh Julie Marie,
I love this post and plan to celebrate Earth Day myself too. Your photos are beautiful, love all God's creatures you've shown here - thank you!
Also, thank you for your thoughtful comments to me about Arnold, you're a dear heart thru & thru (or is it through and through?). Means much!

Your nature pictures are amazing, Julie Marie! You took so many wonderful close up photos, too. I think the animals know you love them and would not hurt them in any way. I, too, love nature. I was just thinking on that the other day and wondering why I love this beautiful Earth so much. Maybe I was just born that way, something inside of me. I hope you are having some pretty spring time weather! Sending love and happy wishes your way! Vicki
