"How did you arrive at Idyllhours" Giveaway Pour Vous...

I love fairytales and magical things... mystical treasures and daydreams...

I am curious by nature... and since you never told me, I decided to ask... how did you first arrive at my little world called Idyllhours?... did you come by way of my enchanted fairy tree... did her graceful arms point you in my direction...

Or did my Fairy Godmother wave her magic wand for you...

And you arrived here in a golden carriage??? ...

Was it the lure of a spectacular sunset that drew you to me??? ...

Or the eerie enchantment of a full moon above the mountain tops in a dark night sky???...

Perhaps I put a spell on you at Halloween... so you would return to Idyllhours again and again...

I must find out how you found me... I am elusive and sometimes cannot be found... you know the old saying "curiosity killed the cat"... but I am sure you do not know the rest of the saying... "and satisfaction brought him back"... if you will tell me in your comment how you happened upon this little spot in Blogland called Idyllhours... I will have Jack (who is totally under my spell... tee hee hee) draw one name from those who comment and I shall reward you with something delightfully enchanting...

A beautiful brand~new book of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll... since I am a greedy sort, I have ordered one for myself as well... you need do nothing but leave your comment about your journey here... if you cannot remember how you first found me... play make~believe like I do and tell me a wonderfully delightful whimsical tale of how we met and came to be such good friends... oooh... I would love to hear that! You may leave your comments up until midnight... the bewitching hour... on Monday February 1st Pacific time... I will have my spell~bound sweetie draw a name on Tuesday February 2nd... Groundhog Day... and post it the same day... you need not blog about this, nor link to me or even be a follower... (I have magical powers, I can take care of all that myself you know... tee hee hee!)... now I must go make a pot of delicious coffee... my sweet friend Karyn tells me there is something magically potent in a specially~brewed pot of coffee... we shall see... xoxo

  2. Oh Julie Marie,
Sweetie don't you remember we met on the trail, I am late, I am late for a very important date. That date ofcourse was with you at your beautiful Idyllhours. I am sorry it took me so long to find the way, but every since then I have never been late, nope not once.

I thank you my precious pet for such a wonderful giveaway. I love Alice and Wonderland. Can we get any more magical than that? I have a reading room of many books from Alice and Wonderland. I read to my grandchildren there. It is our magical world. Only imagination lives in this room. I so love it. I thank you for sharing tonight. Please enter my name into the wonderful drawing. I love it.

Country hugs from Country Wings in Phoenix...Sherry

  4. I believe it was a warm sunny day and I was in the mood for some bunny~fun, so off I ran to Amy's to play. And there I found a whole group playing wonderful games together on little laptops. And I met a wonderful little fairy~like girl there who introduced herself as Julie Marie. We got along famously and she invited me to visit her little house in the woods someday, named Idyllhours...so off I went one day and we have been the best of friends ever since! The End.

  5. Oh I remember as if it were yesterday. I was in the garden and the faeries in the garden pointed me the way. I think they know a couple of the faeries at your place as well. I think one of them said she had a great aunt living there.

  6. I was lost in the woods and I followed the north start that led me to a magical land full of fairies and unicorns. It was not at ALL corny, but rather beautiful and that is how we first met...having a mad hatter (yet less on the mad) tea party. :)

  7. From what I can recall, I was sitting on the couch and looked up at the window and saw a twinkling outside. I went to investigate and the light drew me up to it. What I found when I arrived there was the most beautiful princess and her name was Julie Marie!! I have been under her spell ever since!!
Thank you for making me smile, enjoy the rest of your evening! Hugs xOxO Nerina

  8. You're on some roll here! Another wonderful and delightfully fun post!

It's been awhile Julie but if my memory serves me correct, I believe you commented on my "Well Hello Handsome" post. That little mouse that decided to make my home his home.

But really it was just fate...we were meant to find each other!

    Love and hugs,
    Karyn

  10. It was a crisp cool autumn evening as I stepped out into my garden beneath a golden harvest moon. Drawing down that moon, I cast a spell out into the universe asking for a kindred spirit. The wind began to whirl around me, shaking loose the leaves from the trees in a tumbling blaze of crimson and russett hues. I gathered my velvet cloak closer about me and watched in awe as the leaves danced in mid-air,and slowly spelled I-D-Y-L-L-H-O-U-R-S.

  11. One night I couldn't sleep so I decided to Astral Travel far above the Earth. I wanted to look down on Brigadoon so I sat on a cloud and dangled my feet over the edge. Then you flew by (also unable to sleep) and I waved you over and we sat together on that cloud awaiting the moment Brigadoon would awaken from her 100 year slumber. We sang "Heather on the Hill" and when the fog lifted there was Brigadoon ~ like a sparkling gem. We hooked pinkies and agreed to meet again in another etheric world...cyberspace. Amy

  12. We were just meant to be friends. Drawn together by the friendship fairies.

Wishing you a magical day! What a beautiful book.

  13. Amy and Julie Marie, I was on the cloud beside yours and heard you both talking. I too was awaiting the magical moment of seeing Brigadoon appear. The night was hushed and the clouds were billowy and soft. The perfect place to await this magical moment. Alas for me my cloud was so snuggly soft that I fell into a deep slumber and missed the moment of Brigadoon appearing. Wishing desperatly to discover what magical things I missed that night I flew far and wide until I came across the magical place known as Idyll Hours. Of course I was completely exhausted by that point and decided to rest awhile under your enchanted fairy tree. Your dear Fairy Godmother found me snoozing away and decided that enough was enough and that I needed to start earning my keep. Which I do to this day, I read all of your lovely blogs and dust off the golden carriage whenever it is needed. I do need a good book though to help keep me awake and stop me from sleeping.

    Blessings, Maureen....

  16. Hello Sweet Julie Marie,
I always sprinkle Fairy Dust on my bed sheets before I drift off to sleep...doesn't everyone?? Well anyway that evening I had a dream about a lovely and beautiful Princess who lived in the town of 'Idyll Hours' a place where only happy kind people are allowed. When I visited there I found you and your precious blog world and will forever be friends with you :)
I hope I win this lovely giveaway

  26. Oh sweet Julie Marie,
I was new to this wonderous and fantastical world of blogging when one lovely day...like a little faerie you flew into my blog to say Hi! I wasn't there when you came to visit, but all I had to do was follow the magical, glittery faerie dust trail you left behind and I found you! Yay! Happy day! I am so happy we met, you have been a very sweet and kind friend and for that I feel very blessed. Thank you. Have a wonderful day my friend.

    Hugs and Kisses,
    ♥Ana
