Julie Marie, I am so sorry to hear about your baby elephant Shaba you must be so sad. It sounds like a wonderful place that he was and that they do a great job in animal preservation.

Oh Julie, I am so sad about your baby Shaba..You have to be the kindess spirit on the planet! This little guy was blessed to have you even for a short time..and yes, he wont forget you.. Sending warm hugs, and wishing you a warm and cozy holiday my sweet friend xoxox JO
I have so much to share with you. First of all, my kind thoughts to you for Shaba. How sweet of you to have had this little one. Next, thank you for sharing your story about the kind reader touched by your story of lost treasures. Your story had also touched me .... how do you ever replace lost memories, although we do try with new memories. Lastly, on your Vintage Monday post, you have the little caroler candles that I just posted this Monday as well. Mine represent an old memory of my father. You can always find treasures at tag sales, Goodwill and other thrift shops, but we really want something of our own, of our memories, to make us smile, and make our days a little brighter. Thank you for sharing your stories. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I have to thank Joan for hosting Vintage Christmas Monday. I met so many wonderful people, with wonderful stories they posted and the wonderful comments that they gave me. With your comments, I felt that we were friends that just haven't met yet. Your comments right now on the Viet Nam post, brought tears to my eyes. As I wrote, it wasn't a proper vintage ornament, but it was a proper Christmas memory that needed to be shared. Thank you. s A blessed Merry Christmas to you...... from your friend.
Thank you so much for visiting me and for your sweet words!!! I am so sorry about your baby elephant! Yes, all of God's precious creatures go to heaven. Knowing that brings such comfort!
Wishing you and your dear ones a very blessed and Merry Christmas!!!
Much love from Paula, Pearl and Poppy... doggies kisses, too!
I live in a peaceful, bucolic little rural town with Jack, my love of 35 years and Tessy, our beautiful English Pointer stray we rescued, who fills our home and hearts with happiness and love. Folks are friendly here and the surrounding countryside is beautiful... simple country pleasures make me happiest...my days are spent sharing laughter and good times with family and friends, tending to my old~fashioned cottage gardens and country home, daily Nature walks, my everlasting love for all of God's precious little creatures, daydreaming, and taking time to live each day to the fullest. I am of French and English heritage and I cherish the people, places, objects and events from the past, for they are all a part of who I am today. I hope you enjoy your visit to Idyllhours and will come back often... the coffeepot is always on... xoxo Julie Marie
