Goodbye little Shaba...

This morning I am saddened...I received an email telling me my little adopted baby elephant Shaba in Africa passed away in the night... they say elephants never forget... I will never forget you little sweet baby... I am too sad to post her little picture but I found this one called Animal Heaven... of course ALL God's precious creatures go to Heaven... I love you little Shaba... rest in peace...

  1. Oh, Julie, I am so sorry to hear about Shaba. I will say a prayer to St. Francis. Shaba is now at Rainbrow Bridge where she has so many new friends and I know my little mama girl, Hannah, ran up to her and wiggled her little boxer butt and barked at Shaba and said HI, wanna play?

    Hugs,
    Marsha

  15. Julie Marie, That is so sad. One can truly become attached to an animal whether near or far. Being a baby it might not have been able to have the strength that it needed to go on in this world. You did a wonderful thing for the short time Shaba was around.
    Take Care,
    Ulrike
