Black Velvet... if you please...

Day 12... still sick with this awful "bug"... doctor says another 5~7 days... I miss my Nature walk... I miss my family... we still have not had our Christmas get~together and exchanged gifts yet...(I don't want any of them to get sick)... I miss my voice, I have pretty much lost it... Jack goes for the mail each day and gets what we need from the store... I have only been out of the door once in 12 days and that was to the doctor... just not the same as going to TJ Maxx... my sister Jill brought us dinner last night...and left it on the porch... yummy beef cubes in gravy over rice, sourdough bread, salad with red wine vinaigrette, Sprite (my favorite) and cheesecake... and a cute get~well card... thanks Jill!... I love you!... then Filly and Ellie dropped a little surprise package off on my porch... yummy chamomile tea, delicious chocolate mint European biscuits, a cute get~well card and a Tea Time magazine... thanks girls! I love you guys!... That is the prettiest magazine!... I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope your New Year's Eve tonight is wonderful... me, I will have my Delsum cough syrup on~the~rocks... and pretend it is some yummy Black Velvet... Happy New Years everyone... Bisous...

Oh my goodness, Julie Marie, I hope you're feeling better in less than 5 to 7 days but your doctor certainly knows best. Just take it easy and know it will all be waiting for when you're feeling better. Just be nice and cozy and enjoy that Delsym as much as you can, at least you'll get a cough free sleep? Trying to look on the bright side here!

You're so blessed to have family and friends that care so much, certainly something to savor this New Year's Eve :)

Perhaps taking your beloved nature walks would help you get better sooner? I know it's cold, but bundled up good, the fresh air might be a good thing for you.
In any case, I hope you get well soon. At this rate, you'll be having Christmas in mid-January!

I am thinking that a shot of that Black Velvet is order tonight! I mean, really, what could it hurt? And it just might help! If nothing else, you'll sleep well! I am just full of helpful hints today!

Happy New Year to you, sweet Julie Marie! I am glad you have lots of family around, even if they are at a bit of a distance right now.

Love and hugs,
Tamerie

Oh no Julie Marie! So sorry that you are sick. You know you could make a hot toddy with the Black Velvet!! I am glad though that you have family that can help you get better. It seems like there are a lot of people who are sick with some sort of bug lately. Knock on wood so far we are ok.
I do so hope that you will be better soon. Till then a Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours!
Take Care!

Julie Marie- Golly, can't believe the flu bug has set up residence in your house for so long. Once you are able to celebrate the holiday with friends and family I know you will have a BLAST. I always seem to appreciate everything a lot more after I've been ill for a while, that's just me!

Get well soon, and stay warm and cozy!

Happy New Year to you and your honey,

Jo

Hi sweetie,

So sorry to hear that you are not feeling well...I do know what you are goin through....I have been so sick for 3 weeks now and it is driving me crazy..a bit of a reprive for about 4 days Dec 23-27..now right back to the beginning...it is crazy. I think that maybe you need to drink the whole bottle of Black Velvet and sweat that cold/flu bug right out of you!! We will feel better soon and Spring will be here and we will be able to actually smell the flowers!!
Thank you for being such a dear and making me smile everytime I see your name. You have got to be the sweetest person and it really warms my heart. I am so happy that we connected and I have you 'in' my life now and hope to continue in 2010, cause when we are both healthy and feely super duper...the world is our oyster baby!!
Big New Years Hugs xOxO Nerina
