'Tis the Season...

I hope everyone had a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving Day... ours started out with our morning Nature walk... my very favorite time of the day... then home to fix our Thanksgiving meal... dinner is over... dishes are all done... decorations are all up... we will turn all of our Christmas lights on in just a bit, inside and out... making our holiday season "officially" here... this is my pink shabby tree... the ornaments are not vintage on this one, just precious little shabby treasures from some of my favorite shops...

Speaking of favorite shops, I hope you will all visit my sweet friend Karyn of French Charming tomorrow... Karyn is such a doll, she is compiling a list on her blog of all the beautiful online boutiques and shops to make our Christmas shopping easier and alot more fun! If you have not visited Karyn, please do! She would love to add your boutique or online shop to her list! Tell her Julie Marie sent you! Thanks also to my dear sweet friend Bunny of The Paris House... I won her giveaway recently and my beautiful flower necklace and extra surprise arrived... I love it!... I also want to thank sweet Marie Antoinette for the lovely Christmas cd's she surprised me with... and also thanks to my sweet friend in Hawaii, beautiful Anna at Hula Gypsy... I recently ordered some beautiful vintage brooches from her shop and she also included several other surprises for me, including a sweet little vintage elephant brooch she named Shaba, in honor of my little baby elephant we are fostering in Africa... these three ladies all have beautiful shops as well, I hope you will visit them too!... Merci sweet friends, I adore you!... Bisous...

Hi Julie! Congratulations on your win (above comment) - what fun for you!

What a beautiful little tree - I just love it! I noticed the little heart boxes or ornaments - very pretty. Also the little pink clock on the table caught my eye. Lovely goodies.

Come see me...

Hi Julie, I'm sorry I didn't have a bigger photo of the wall piece with the insets, (insects), so funny. Hope your eye is better soon, I need to check back on your blog. I had to reread my post, hoping I hadn't typed that. Your pink tree is just so sweet, love the ornaments. It will take me awhile to get all my "Thanksgiving" put up away and my "Christmas" out. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend.
Blessings,
Debra

Hi Julie Marie...
What a beautiful tree you have. Pink and all, it is just exquisite. I so love the little feathery birds. They are just devine.

I can't wait to see the rest of your decorations. I put up a few of my trees and will continue to decorate tomorrow. I like to start early so that I can enjoy things a little longer. Never seems like we have enough time.

Thanks for sharing sweetie. I pray you had a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner with all.

Country hugs...Sherry

Love your little pink tree!

It sounds like you had a perfect Thanksgiving Day. Although it is a holiday weekend, I must get back to work today. I am hoping that I can finally catch up on the blogs I've been neglecting of late.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hugs,
Tamerie

Hello, Julie Marie,
You know I love that sweet pink tree as I love all things pink!! Congratulations on all the lovely presents you have been receiving, too. I am so thankful you found the gas leak in time and were not hurt. I certainly believe in guardian angels and know I have worked my own guardian angels overtime many a day. I am glad you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. Much love to you! Vicki

Oh my goodness Julie Marie, I've missed so many of your posts. :-( It has been one of those weeks. My daughter and I had a couple of scary days at the doctor's, plus trying to get everything ready for Thanksgiving...Praise God it is all over and all is ok. Anyways, love your shabby chic, pink tree. Tres chic! Now I'm off the see what I missed. Wishing you a wonderful weekend my dear friend. Until next time.

Hugs and Kisses,
♥Ana
