Ellie, Filly and Jill...
Jill with one of the gifts I gave her... we both LOVE ghost stories, and it's a tradition I give her a ghost book every year on her birthday...
I tied a fleece blanket for her, in a Native American design in pretty Autumn colors... (Jill owns a beautiful internet shop called "Indian Summer" that specializes in exquisite Native American Art)... I thought she could use it in her office on crisp, Autumn days coming up...
We had yummy Chinese food, mini eclairs (YUM!)... giggled, laughed, we were very silly "ghouls" that day!... then everyone brought "Moi" presents even!... Filly and Ellie gave me this little bird magnet set...
Then Jill gave me this darling vintage Josefs Originals piebird (I actually had my piebird collection in Romantic Homes magazine last year in a letter to the editor I sent that was printed!)...She also gave me a wonderful vintage Home Canning Book from the year 1930! I love it! Whoever it once belonged to had written in pencil in the front of the book what they canned that year... here is their list... 94 quarts of peaches, 20 quarts of strawberries, 21 quarts of apricots, 20 quarts of pears, 74 quarts of raspberries, 9 quarts of cherries, 96 quarts of sweet corn, 66 cans of beans, 56 quarts of field corn, wow! I made two batches of jam and 2 batches of salsa this year and thought I did alot!!!
Jill also gave me these darling little Anna Lee Pilgrims for Thanksgiving... I collect these little Anna Lee dolls...some of mine are quite old and some are newer as they still make them today... Jill knows how much I love them!...
Then Filly and Ellie gave me this cute witch candle from the Rock Loft in Fruit Heights... we ALL love witches!...
Still more gifts for Moi! Liz gave me this cute little "Beware" sign with bats on it... I love Bats at Halloween too!...
Filly and Ellie also gave me this little "test tube" of "gummi brains".... Gruesome!... I put it in one of my witches hands after I took this picture... Eeeek!...
You would have thought it was MY party I received so many fun things! We all have so much fun buying little surprises for each other, no matter what day of the year it is!
Jill's actual birthday is on October 1st... we like long celebrations around our places! Hope you had a fun day "ghouls"... I did! Merci!... Bisous... Je t'aime...

Look at you gorgeous girls!!! And you all look so much alike! So many wonderful gifts were passed too! That book looks wonderful, I know your sister will love reading that this fall :) SO glad you had such a nice time! I love the gifts you received also~!

We do LOVE giving gifts don't we??!! Whenever we are out we always see things we want to get you... It is fun shopping for all the Girls for any time but especially around Halloween... All your treasures look beautifully displayed... Thanks again for Lunch and all our fun presents... I love that someone wrote in your Canning book. When I find books with writing in them it always makes me like them more because I wonder who had the book before me and what kind of life they had... Well Have a great weekend...
